I feel accomplished.
Back in the day!
Alone time for Shelby and Sam didn’t exist anymore. They were too wrapped around the babies, and then they spent hours listening to Rachel explain her day since she was now living with them. I guess they had what you would call a family. Sam held Collin rocking him looking down at him. He placed a kiss on his sons cheek as he passed out, and placed him in his crib. “Night swirl..” he whispered, and shut the light off in the room turning on the baby monitor. Walking out the door he made his way to his and Shelby’s room seeing her grabbing her pajamas. “Hey babe. Collin’s asleep.” he smiled walking over to her, and kissed her softy taking his work shirt off tossing it in the hamper along with his dress pants leaving him in his boxers.
Sam had to do a house call this afternoon, which meant less time with Shelby. Sigh. He got dressed in the middle of the day, and went over to one of his patients house. He spent the whole day almost with the most stubborn patient he ever had. He needed to get home, to Shelby because he couldn’t stand another minute. The car ride home he spent the whole time thinking about how he was in the mood to get some. I mean for the most part of Shelby’s pregnancy her and Sam were just about non-stop. It was a plus for Sam. Minus the times when she’d be hormonal and throw things when he didn’t make her breakfast or any meal of hers right. Pulling up to the house, Sam had a smirk on his face walking in taking off his shoes setting them by the door. “Hey, baby.. I’m home!” he called out, to find Shelby in the living room laying on the couch in shorts and a tank top. It was hot. Well it wasn’t really. It was just one of the things that went along with the pregnancy.
However he licks my head too much.
My old dog didn’t even do that.
